Changes in climatic norms for surface air temperature and precipitation according to observations in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. Dmitrieva O. A., Lvova M. V. Proceedings of MGO. 2026. V. 620. P. 8–19.

This article presents long-term annual values of key meteorological characteristics (surface air temperature and precipitation) measured
at meteorological stations in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region for two baseline climatic periods: 1961–1990 and 1991–2020. The resulting estimates reflect patterns of change over a long observation period and can be useful both
for regional climate generalization and in developing scientifically based approaches to preventive adaptation of economic sectors in a constantly changing climate.

Keywords: surface air temperature, total annual precipitation, ground observation network station, baseline period, WMO.
